Rooted in the Soil,
Raised with Intent
Petersen Show Lambs has been a trusted name in northern Indiana's livestock community since day one. Based in Claypool, we specialize in producing show-quality lambs that combine outstanding conformation with the temperament and condition judges look for.
Every lamb that leaves our farm has been raised on a foundation of proper nutrition, health management, and early handling — so they're not just good on paper, they're ready to perform under pressure.
Services Built Around
Your Goals
Whether you're a first-time exhibitor or a seasoned competitor, we provide the lambs and expertise to help you succeed.
Show Lamb Sales
Premium market and show lambs selected for conformation, growth, and breed type. Every animal is evaluated before listing so you know exactly what you're getting.
Genetic Consultation
Not sure which bloodlines fit your program? We'll walk you through sire and dam lines, growth traits, and carcass merit to help you make informed purchasing decisions.
Preparation & Training
From hoof trimming to show-ring handling, we offer hands-on prep work so your lamb arrives at the show ready to place — not just presentable, but competitive.
Seasonal Availability
Lambs are available on a seasonal schedule to match fair and competition timelines. Contact us early in the season to reserve your animal before the best ones are gone.
The Difference
Shows Up in the Ring
We don't raise lambs to fill pen space. Every animal here is bred and managed with the show ring in mind — from the genetics we select to the daily care protocols we follow.
Every lamb meets the same high standard — no surprises, no guesswork.
No middlemen. You deal directly with the people who raised the animal.
Full vaccination and health history provided with every purchase.
We treat every buyer as a partner, not a one-time sale.
